Something cute because it's "not my thing". :) Another one of my attempts with watercolor, this time on more textured paper, thus the bad scan. This one as well as many of my recent and future uploads will be in the Eurofurence art show. And I finally have confirmation that I can attend in person. So dealers den = prints, sketches, chatting, etc.

A collaboration between Kenket and I we did sunday night at FC. I sketched and she inked and colored. It was concluded that I draw beefy yet girly hoss boys, which I have to admit is true. :3

Random. The purpose was to do an all ballpoint piece again. I try to do one or more every year, it's a great exercise in hand-eye coordination. The dog thinger was an afterthought, I just wanted to keep going. :P Will be available at FC, as well as a great chunk of what I've been uploading recently.

A cute chibi-ish pic for my roomie, Drakkor. The story behind this is that he says that when he sees me in the morning I'm sometimes sleeping in a ball with all the sheets wrapped around me and such. So it's a play on words in French, boule + shin = shoule. This is watercolor and acrylic ink (the white) and took waaaay longer than one would think looking at it. If I had drawn it, cut it out and stuck it on the bg I'm sure I would have saved myself an hour. I had to mask the lineart with masking fluid, go over in paint, of course that left white spots so instead of trying to fix them I did the white outline. D'oh.

I am happy to say that the only reference I used was for her hands and a veeery loose one for what the dunes should aproximately look like, not colors or exact placement or anything. I still can't do proper drapery from memory, but I think it looks nice and stylized. Definitely better than I've ever done. She is a hyena/wolf hybrid. Sold at FC 07.
